Please be aware I'm on extended leave from April 2025 to early 2026 and will be slow to respond to any supervision enquiries during that time.
I am a Board-approved supervisor with endorsements in both Clinical Psychology and Forensic Psychology. Over the course of my training over the years, I have done a whole lot of supervision myself as a supervisee with various supervisors in various settings and the breadth of these experiences informs the supervision I offer now.
My supervisory style is grounded in creating a safe space for reflective practice and, as in my therapy practice, I tend to consider schemas, attachment needs, counter-transference, and issues of culture, gender and sexuality when formulating and reflecting on cases. I also believe in the value of experiential techniques and practical, actionable strategies within supervision.
I offer supervision by online videoconference for general professional development or as secondary supervision for a psychology registrar program in any area of endorsement. Schema therapists, EMDR practitioners and CBT therapists from disciplines other than psychology (for example, counsellors and social workers) may also find my supervision applicable to your practice. Bear in mind that I have not pursued accreditation in schema therapy or EMDR at this stage although I have completed advanced training in both and have practiced both for several years. I am not available as a primary supervisor for registrars or to supervise provisional psychologists.
Available weekdays by videoconference for one-off or ongoing (fortnightly/monthly/6-weekly) individual supervision. The fee for 60 minutes is $278+GST. Supervision may have a broad or very specific focus depending on your situation and what is arising for you at the present time. Send me a message below and I'll call you back to discuss your needs and suitable dates and times.
I convene a monthly peer supervision group focusing on schema therapy, EMDR and the intersection of these two approaches. The group is a collegial, supportive environment where we can discuss concepts and cases professionally but also with vulnerability and humanity. The group has been running since June 2021 and meets on the third Friday of the month from 11am-12.30pm online. You can express your interest by contacting me using the form below.
