AHPRA Registered Psychologist (PSY0001715470)
Member of the Australian Psychological Society
I am a psychologist with over 8 years experience supporting adults, young adults, and teenagers/children and their families across a number of government, education and disability services. I have a special interest in supporting people who have had tough experiences in childhood of all kinds, and those living with the impacts of complex trauma.
My approach to therapy is warm, down-to-earth and genuine. I aim to create a place where you feel comfortable, respected and able to be heard without judgement.
My practice blends elements from Schema Therapy, attachment theory and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to provide treatment that meets each person's unique needs. I also practice Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Re-processing (EMDR) which is an evidence-based therapy suitable for some people who have been through trauma. I value feedback and I'm always happy to answer any questions you might have.
My professional qualifications include a Master of Psychology from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. I am also a Psychology Board of Australia-approved supervisor for provisional and registered psychologists.
